Fake profile protection

Remove a Fake Facebook Account Impersonating You

Noticeora finds Facebook accounts built from your photos by face, then files the report with Facebook and de-indexes the profile from search.

Capabilities

Built for impersonation beyond a single fabricated image.

Likeness-based detection

Matches your face across fake profiles, ads, and generated content — not a username or bio that a scammer controls.

Synthetic-content verification

Confirms content was AI-generated or fabricated using your likeness before any notice is filed.

Notice filing

TAKE IT DOWN Act, DMCA and platform impersonation-policy reports filed per case, depending on what the impersonation actually is.

Cross-platform monitoring

Fake profiles reappear under new names — monitoring isn't limited to one platform or one account.

Search de-indexing

Cuts traffic to an impersonating page or profile before the platform responds.

Free scan

Run a scan of your face across the internet before deciding to subscribe. No credit card or upfront payment required.

Enforcement at internet scale

48 Hours

Removal window for qualifying statutory notices.

24/7

Continuous internet monitoring.

Unlimited

Takedowns under one fee.

Millions

Pages continuously monitored.

A fake Facebook account that uses your photos can be used to scam followers, redirect fans to a paid link, or pass as you in messages. It rarely uses your name, so searching for yourself does not surface it, and a new account can replace one that gets removed.

How detection works

Noticeora matches the face in public profile photos against a reference built from photos and videos you control. That finds accounts using your pictures under a different name, handle or bio, which a username search cannot do.

Which report applies

Facebook handles this through its impersonation reporting flow. If you own the copyright in the photos being used, a DMCA copyright report can be filed as well, and where an account uses AI-generated or fabricated intimate images of you the TAKE IT DOWN Act applies. The right route depends on what the account actually does. The legal options decision tree is a faster way to work through it, and our TAKE IT DOWN Act guide covers the fabricated-content case.

While the report is pending

Platform reviews can take longer than a statutory notice. Where the profile appears in search results, de-indexing requests are filed in parallel so it stops surfacing in the meantime.

Fake profiles often come with other misuse of the same photos: AI impersonation removal, deepfake removal on Facebook and leaks protection. See all fake profile protection pages.

Continuous monitoring, not a one-time sweep

A single scan only shows what is out there today. New copies keep appearing, including at URLs that were already taken down once, so detection runs continuously and every removed URL stays on a watch list for re-upload monitoring.
